  • Not a huge amount of tourists
  • Relatively close to major cities like Paris
  • Very close to the ocean (30 minutes to 1 hour away)
  • Pretty easy to get to Paris, but Nantes' far-western location  means it takes much longer to reach other major cities.

  • The Loire Valley is a fantastic place to live.
